The Great EGGstravaganza - Clare
Have you ever seen eggs fall from the sky? Join Clare Parks and Recreation and the Clare Municipal Airport at our annual egg drop event.
There will be special marked prize eggs with each of the drops.
You will be able to enter to win a bike that was donated by one of our great community businesses - Clare Family Fitness!
The Easter Bunny will arrive by plane to the Clare Municipal Airport, and then pilots from the Clare Municipal Airport will be on hand to drop over 1,800 plastic eggs from an airplane! Youth ages 12 and under are able to retrieve the eggs and then recycle them in for candy. Before and after the event, local organizations and volunteers will offer children’s activities. Parents please dress your children warm and bring an Easter basket for them to collect their eggs in! If there is inclement weather, the planes will not be able to fly, however we will still have an egg “hunt” on the ground.
Egg Drop Times
10:30am -Ages 0-4 10:45am -Ages 5-8 11:00am -Ages 9-12
Registration starts at 9am - 10:15am please allow yourself enough time to park, register, and prepare for your drop. Participants should be ready 15 minutes before drop time.
Children ages 12 and under!
In an effort to accommodate the hundreds of people expected for this event, 3 drops will be planned, each according to age. The drop times are listed above. and will only be allowed to participate in one drop time.
